Encephalartos kisambo

Encephalartos kisambo is an easy to grow to grow plant, which prefers light shade, and has a long tap-root, so a deep pot is preferable. Frost sensitive. Established specimens tend to retain several heads of leaves, all in good condition, thereby forming an exceptionally decorative cycad.

Leaf size	2 – 4 metres long – soapy green
Region	Endemic to southern Kenya where it is restricted to isolated mountains in the Voi district
Best suited climate	Tropical and subtropical and warm temperate regions. Plants can be grown in full sun but best appearance is obtained with some protection
