CITES and our Export Nursery. Cycad International is a registered artificial propagation establishment. This means that all of our cycad plants in our nursery were grown from seeds. All of our CITES Appendix 1 Cycad stock is deemed by CITES to be treated as CITES Appendix 2 cycad material for export purposes.
We are legally able to export commercial quantities of Cycad plants around the world from our export nursery. For Appendix I Cycad species, CITES recognises "Artificially Propagated Material" and does not require the importer from destination country to obtain a CITES import permit.
